Boots!

I still can't believe that my awesome darling got me a pair of boots as my bday present!

I've literally spent 4++ years looking for a pair of boots but somehow, I always ended up not getting any. And my darling bought me a pair when she went Hong Kong for a vacation.

The last exam of the year!

It's coming right up! Next Saturday. Teeheehee. And then I'm done with foundation for good.

For the first time ever, I actually felt hardworking enough to want to start studying today, but I couldn't find ALL my textbooks! And I got really frustrated.

But seriously, where is it?? I've searched my lockers, my bedroom, my living room, my desks, and I can't find them.

So back to the topic. I can't wait to end this thing, but I don't wanna finish it up so fast either. Hahah ughh contradictory emotions.

I don't think I've learnt anything throughout the whole year though. And am definitely not prepared to graduate from Pre-U so fast. Will have to start degree then.

Oh and my dad forbade me to read the books until I'm done with finals. Pffft.

Salem Falls

By Jodi Picoult.

I would say that.. Nineteen minutes is slightly better, but I think that's just cuz of my own preference. Hahah

But overall, this book is nice. Very suspenseful; not dull.

I like her writing style. :)

Can You Keep A Secret

By Sophie Kinsella. Hahah

OK honestly, it wasn't that nice. But it's quite funny though. I would say that Twenties Girl is a nicer book. But for a good laugh, it's pretty okay. :D

Hahah and yeah I finished it in less than a day.

Nineteen Minutes

Book by Jodi Picoult, author of My Sister's Keeper.

A good book, and for those who know her writing patterns, well, that's what I like about her books. :) Although it did make me cry and got emo for a few days. Ahaha

But basically it's a story about how a victim of bullying, Peter, who had had enough of the tormenting and went to school and started a shooting spree, killing his fellow schoolmates. This book shows how things aren't what they seem to be and there are many underlying reason that shapes a person's being. It broadens our minds and gave us a better understanding from a different perception.

But a sad book, all the same.

Twenties Girl

A book by Sophie Kinsella, author of the Shopaholic series.

Hahaha it's actually quite a good book, much better than what I expected. I started reading thinking it was some regular, not so impressive chick lit and found out that this book surprises me. It has a pretty unexpected story line and the way the author wrote it was.. pretty good.

I'd recommend this book to lovers of chick lits and those who fancy a good humour. :D

Spree in MPH!

OK. Maybe not really a spree as I still had to follow certain limits. Hahah

But I bought 9 books todayy! Weeee! So happy. Hehh hopefully it can last me for at least a month. Please please pretty pleaseee. Cuz the last time I bought 5 books, I finished all 5 in a week. -.- So not worth it. Hahaha

Stupid quizzes

Seriouslyyy. I got so stressed out today. Had my first quiz and I didn't finish studying the 3 chapters that were coming out. And it was hardddd! :( Sigh. Hopefully it wasn't thaaat bad.

And I'm having Marketing and Stats quiz tomorrow. Haven't studied a thing. Am thinking whether I should just screw it up or not. But both quizzes are worth 10% each. Which is a lot :(

Sometimes, the truth hurts, no matter how much you try to convince yourself that it doesn't matter.

NOT. Hahhaha oh dear, all I feel like doing is play Zoo Tycoon all the time and not study. -.- And I don't even have much time to study anymore :(

Kinda looking forward to after I'm done with this course. Can't wait. Hehh then I'mma go wild.

SO not looking forward to the coming week

I have like 4 quizzes in one whole week! And presentation for Marketing. So need to prepare all the slides and videos and everything.

And then, need to study. But all I want to do, is play! I know it's prolly reaaaaally outdated or smth, but my sister borrowed Zoo Tycoon from her friend the other day and I couldn't stop playing it. -.- But I prefer Roller Coaster Tycoon though. I still couldn't find anyone who has it. Maybe I'll get it myself. Hehhh

My 19th Birthday

It was yesterday, 1st of July. And it was one of the best birthdays I've ever had. :) But towards the end, I was so so tired cuz I was up since 5.20 am and had been out the whole day. Plus I had classes in the morning. :(

It started in college. When I was in my last class, which was from 9.30 to 11 am, my friends came in to my Marketing class and said someone has something for me. So they came in, with a huge bouquet of flowers. OMG I was so so stunned. Remember a post I wrote last year, about how it would be so sweet if you're in the middle of class or work and someone sent you a bunch of flowers? So yeah, apparently, he read it, and he arranged for the flowers thingy without me knowing about it. So sweet! I was really touched. So that was one of my dreams coming true. And it's all so sweet, they're roses. :)

Afterwards, I went and did two streaks of pink extensions! God they look fab! Like seriously. Hahah maybe I'll upload it after I take pictures of it. But anyway, I treated that for myself and the extensions, were literally my childhood dream. Since the day I got to know Avril Lavigne. Haha

Then I had karaoke with my baby. One of my favourite things in the world. And got a whole bottle of sparkling juice from RedBox. Hehh :D

At night, met up with old friends from high school for dinner. They're all quite close to me so it was a really nice dinner. We talked and laughed a lot and did a few stupid stuffs. Guess what they got me, apart from the birthday cake, they got me.. Avril Lavigne's album! Hahaha I really like that.

I had a nice time. :)
