Cake wrecks

Okay guys. I LMAO after I saw these pictures of professional cakes that went wrong due to miscommunication/misunderstanding between the customer and cake decorator.

Pictures are all for entertainment purposes only. Enjoy! =D

Imagine the customer saying this :" Please write best wishes suzanne and underneath that, we will miss you."
And voila! The cake. Even the word underneath is being spelled wrongly.

You figure this one out yourself. Lol

Okay. Haha so this is what you'll get thru a phone order.

HAHAHA!

It's actually a really nice looking cake and the decorater should leave blank on the top.

Anyone want sprinklers on top of the cake??

This is the first ever censored cake in the world.

Dyed hair

Yipee I FINALLY get the chance to dye my hair today. After years and years of begging and pestering my mum for it. I am finally able to do it. I'm sorry dear dermatologist, I'll explain to you when I see you =)

It's a sort of reddish-purplish colour that looks nice =) Hee I'm just happy. I know its not a big deal, but it is, for me.

Wooo I wanted to perm as well, but after doing some google-ing, perming and colouring at the same time is a big no-no. It'll not only ruin the colour/perm, it'll also make u go bald like, immediately. Anyways if you've permed or coloured alrdy, its best to wait for like at least 1 week before doing the nxt step. And then I also found out that after perming, u musn't wash ur hair for at least 48 hours which totally prevented me from perming. Thats because at my current state of life, I'm washing my hair almost twice a day everyday due to all that swimming. =(

But no worries, I'mma perm rite after sukma =D

Excercising restrain

I'm pissed.

Getting on my nerves.

Well, at least one good thing came out of it - I have to excercise my patient and restrain so that words unleashed by me will not offend anyone. Please note that I'm trying my best so don't be mad if I accidentally said something that sounds wrong. It's unintentional.

I know

yes, yes, yes I know. Lotsa swimmers in HELP.

And yes, I do realise I'll have to see kaya pau there (private joke). As well as Lin Yong pau, Dau Sa pau, Cha Siew pau etc etc.

Wee.. Can't wait. *sarcastic*

The next Justin Bieber

Seriously guys. Go to Youtube and search for Greyson Chance. He performed Lady Gaga's paparazzi and it was absolutely amazing. He's a 12 or 13 (I forgot) year old boy who can really sing and play the piano. Oh and check out his interview with Ellen, it was really funny. He also got a phone call from Lady Gaga and she signed him up with her music producer thingy. Lol and he can really sing!

Isn't that amazing?

Me

Okay I found this song whereby the lyrics suit me so SO much! Muahahaha.

For those who don't know me
I can get a bit crazy
Have to get my way
24 hours a day
Cause I'm hot like that

Every guy everywhere just gives me mad attention
Like I'm under inspection
I always get a 10
Cause I'm built like that

I go through guys like money flyin' out their hands
They try to change me but they realize they can't
And every tomorrow is a day I never planned
If you're gonna be my man, understand

[chorus]
I can't be tamed, I can't be tamed
I can't be blamed, I can't, can't
I can't, can't be tamed, I can't be changed
I can't be tamed, I can't be (can't be)
I can't be tamed

If there was a question about my intentions
I'll tell ya I'm not here to sell ya
Or tell ya to get to hell
(I'm not a brat like that)

I'm like a puzzle but all my pieces are jagged
If you can understand this
We can make some magic
I'm on like that

I wanna fly I wanna drive I wanna go
I wanna be a part of something I don't know
And if you try to hold me back I might explode
Baby by now you should know

[chorus]

I'm not a trick you play
I'm wired a different way
I'm not a mistake, I'm not a fake
It's set in my DNA

Don't change me
Don't change me
Don't change me
Don't change me
(I can't be tamed)

I wanna fly I wanna drive I wanna go
I wanna be a part of something I don't know
And if you try to hold me back I might explode
Baby by now you should know

[chorus]

My God people. When did I became this SS??? Anyways, its a nice song, filled with attitude. It's "Can't be tamed" by Miley Cyrus and even tho I don't like her and find her annoying, some of her songs are actually quite nice.

Well.. I went to HELP University College today to get more info and I have absolutely no idea that the campus is actually underground. =.=

So I got the information I wanted and all the scholarship info and stuff but.. OK. Truth be told, if I were to be sincere, the campus is definitely not as nice as Taylor's. But that's what to be expected if you know how much the miscellaneous fee that we have to pay, even with the full tuition fee waiver.

I guess I have to say goodbye to Taylors. =( And start rotting at home after SUKMA. Lol

Change of Plans

Well there's a change of plans.

Apparently, I'm not gonna take up that full scholarship by Taylors anymore and *sigh* I have to politely decline it. I'm telling you, it's not gonna be easy. Cuz I've actually confirmed taking it up and they've already made all that preperations and stuff for that award ceremony and my name's actually under the sponsorship of a company. Oh man, it's gonna be tough.

Then my dad says its even better if I take up HELP's scholarship cuz the extra fees are cheaper and it's nearer to my house and well, the students there are majority not as rich as students in Taylors.

And my mum says she's not giving up on jpa. =.=''

But the thing is, HELP's next intake is on the 23rd of August. August!! Good gracious I'm gonna rot at home. I'll become fermented and forget how to hold a pen by then. AUGUST!! I really don't know how to occupy my time till then. I've always wanted to learn piano, it has been my DREAM since I was 5. But.. Well, no money for a piano. =( Maybe I can go to those dancing classes I've wanted to join. I think I will. Oh and not to forget yoga. To tone down my muscles and keep fit.

Life is definitely full of cliches and ironies.

Evolution

I'mma talk about the evolution of young, teenage girls to, well, young adults.

You see, I was randomly cruising around, checking random people's blogs and I came to realise that there's actually an evolution going on. So, I'm gonna pat myself on the back and say, "Great observation!" Haha!

Okay, so I noticed that young girls of age 14 to around 16 or 17 have this trend of blogging. They normally bitch about other girls, talking about scandals in their schools, talking about boys/boyfriends and stuff like that. Well, there's nothing to be ashamed of cuz that process happens to everyone, including me. When we were younger, we usually gossip about this other girl or according to what I've been reading thru in a number of blogs, girls usually have a number of 'bitches' that they hate and stuff like that. Well, in my opinion, EVERYONE has a bitchy side to themselves, including the guys. But as long as you know the limit and doesn't hurt anyone else, I think it's ok to sometimes let that bitchy part of you out. You know, just to have a lil fun but not over the limit.

Then, as I scroll thru some older girls' blogs (18 and above), it's more..well, matured like. Maybe as we grow older, the little petty things that used to bug the hell out of us (such as that girl who backstabs or that other girl who stole someone's bf) doesn't really matter to us anymore. Oh yes we still gossip about it once in a while, but it's not something that we prioritise in our lives. It's not so much of a big deal anymore. But it doesn't mean we won't feel nothing if one of our friends betray us. We just don't feel the need to make a big deal out of it. Maybe that's what aging means. We learn lots of valuable lessons thru experience. In life, if you experience a hiccup, you pick urself up and move on stronger than ever. No point lingering in the past and hurting urself even more.

No wonder they say that as we grow older, we grow wiser.

When I was a little girl, I used to think that adults are perfect, especially our primary school teachers. To me, they were the greatest, wisest, smartest and they can solve any problems in the world. But as I grow older, I realised that adults are just actually people like us, they weren't able to provide all the answers to everything. What they can provide is their experiences in life and lessons they've learnt thru it. Adults are just people like you and me. In 10 or 20 or even 30 years time, I'll still be me with my attitude and personality. I might get wiser, I might not. I'll definitely still make mistakes (when we were small we used to think adults will never EVER make any mistakes) and we'll definitely still be struggling with life. But of course to the younger kids we'll still be the know-it-all, but it doesn't change who we are deep inside.

Oh God listen to me. I sound like a long-winded buffalo. Haha but still, that's what's blogging about. It's about expressing yourself.

Our Predicted (doomed) Future

Okay, okay! News alert people!! The world is coming to an end. And it's all being predicted. Most of the big events that have happened in the past are being predicted years ago by none other than the Bulgarian prophet, Baba Vanga.

This information was in Galaxie's latest May 17-31 issue. You guys can go check it out or google it. It's all in the web.

Baba Vanga, whose real name was Vangelia Gushterova, was a prophet from Bulgaria who predicted 911. She was actually born in 1911 and passed away in 1996. So apparently, she wasn't alive to see 911 happen. Anyways, when she was 12 years old, she was lifted by the wind in a storm and thrown onto the ground from great height. When she was found, she had sand and dirt in her eyes and she became blind.

Then she started foretelling things.

When her older brother, Vasil wanted to join the army but Baba Vanga cried and begged him not to go cuz she had foreseen he would die at the age of 23. Vasil went anyways and was arrested and executed by the Germans at the age of 23.

In 1989, Baba Vanga predicted that the World Trade Centre would fall after being attacked by "steel birds". In 1980, she predicted that either in August 1999 or 2000, Kursk would be covered by water. At first everyone was puzzled because Kursk is one of the city in Russia but in August 2000, the Russian submarine, named Kursk, sank, leaving no survivors.

It was also said from my research in the internet that Baba Vanga predicted the break up of Soviet Union, the Chernobyl disaster, the date of Stalin's death, Princess Dianna's death etc etc.

This ash cloud that's happening right now, you know, the volcanic ash that's covering Europe has been foretold as the beginning of the end for Europe. You see, Baba Vanga predicted that in November 2010, World War 3 will begin. As a result, radioactive fallout will destroy almost all life in the Northern Hemisphere.

Okay, and based on my research, there are many, many dates in the future whereby things have been foretold. But I will not list out all of it because it's too long, and I'm not sure whether all of it is accurate or not. I'll just list down the ones that Galaxie has also listed down.

In 2018, China will become the new superpower. By 2046, all body organs can be reproduced (stem cells? Remember, Baba Vanga died before stem cell was even known). In 2111, people will become like robots (Cyborgs? Terminators?)

In 2125, we will have first contact with aliens (although I must add that Baba Vanga has long since told the world that alien exists and the alien race that she can communicate with is called Vamfim, which comes from the 3rd planet or realm from earth). Then, in 2130, with the help from these friendly aliens, we'll be able to live underwater. In 2164, animals will turn half-human.

In 2196, all races would have completely mixed. In 2221, while searching for ETs in space, humans will encounter something terrible. In 2341, something terrible will approach Earth from space.

After that, in 3797, Earth will die but humans will have advanced enough to move to a new star system. In 4509, we will commune directly with God. And in 4599, people will achieve immortality. But it was also predicted that the world will end in 5079.

So now, I'm going to quote what the author of this particular article said which made me LMAO: "All I can say is - Wow! Prophecy or not, it makes one good James Cameron movie, hopefully in 3D" Haha! Like, wth rite?? LOL!!!

Well, we won't be around by the time all this happen but we'll see whether that World War 3 does happen in November this year. In the meantime, hope you enjoyed this piece of information. =)

The Preview of Books

Throughout the last week, I was having this book-reading marathon since I couldn't go online. I was reading the books that I bought from the very inexpensive bookstore - The Devil Wears Prada, Chasing After Harry Winston (Devil Wears Prada series), Thanks for The Memories, Sleeping Arrangements and The Host.

Oh my God. I have to tell you that The Host is really worth reading. It's written by Stephanie Meyer, author of the Twilight Saga and I'm telling you, whoever who has never read this book before is totally losing out. Just like the Twilight Series, The Host is unique in its very way and it definitely, absolutely has a very interesting storyline. Not a single page is boring. And the book is super thick! Thicker than any of the Twilight books. It's filled with suspense and you'll be filled with anticipation and your heart will pound faster (literally) as you go through the really, really suspenseful parts. It's also really touching and you MIGHT be crying at certain parts. Also, it's filled with unexpected surprises. I'm telling ya, you really need to go grab The Host and flip through it.

The Devil Wears Prada series are quite funny. You'll laugh out loud in some parts. At first I thought maybe the books might be boring, but surprisingly, it isn't. It's kinda hilarious, especially Chasing After Harry Winston. I have yet got to lay my hands on Everyone Worth Knowing, another book from the Devil Wears Prada series.

Cecilia Ahern's books are wonderful - as usual. P.S. I Love You, Where Rainbows End, If You Could See Me Now, A Place called here, Thanks for The Memories and The Gift are all amazing books. Each and every one of her books are unique and different. The way she tells each stories are not the same at all. Her books are touching and filled with lessons. After each story, you'll start thinking a little about life and the lessons that you've learned from the books. There's a new book from her called The Key for Tomorrow that I haven't read yet. I have yet to own that particular book and The Gift, a wonderful and really sad and touching story.

I have another goal in mind as well, that is to collect the whole Shopaholic Series. I didn't know that the series is supremely funny until I came across one of the books in the series and laughed myself crazy when I was reading it. It's the ultimate chick lit and really, really funny and interesting. You'll just shake your head and laugh at the many stupid things the main character does.

So the authors that I worship will be Cecelia Ahern, Stephanie Meyer, JK Rowling and one chinese author who writes Chinese novels. JK Rowling is one of the most extraordinary author with the really unexpected plots. Stephanie Meyer is forever creative in writing fictions that will leave you breathless while reading it. Cecelia Ahern writes touching real life stories filled with lessons and hopes that you'll never forget. They're just simply the best.

If you don't like reading, you better start. It's one of the epitome of life that you'll miss out.

The jerk

I've read an interview with this jerk in CLEO magazine's latest issue. Go check it out if you can, you'll hate him for sure.

"I can get any girls/women that I want" Yeah well, that's the quote for all-time losers. They THINK they're so high and mighty and all girls are falling head over heels for them but they're just deluded. Don't you know, losers, that in this modern world, girls could also be after u losers just for your money or for sex? Don't delude yourself into thinking that there are FEELINGS involved too - that's if you're an all-time jerk.

Anyways, yeah, if you're rich and hot, you can get inside anyone's(regardless of the gender) pants but whatever it is, you'll never ever get someone who'll love and accept you fully for who you are.

Dream on, losers.

THE Interview

So today was the interview for Taylor's World Class scholarship.

Before I talk about the interview, let me bangga-kan diri a little. XP

Ok, so this is a full tuition fee waiver scholarship that are being sponsored by corporate companies. There are 8 companies that sponsor for Business Studies so there'll be one recipient for each company. So there are around 4-5 shortlisted candidates that are being invited to the interview and according to the girl in charge, they received more than 200 applications for Business Studies but only 30 people were being shortlisted (including me). Haha

And after that, the corporate companies will then choose 4 or 5 candidates for themselves and I was being chosen by Loreal.

The interview was being conducted and seriously, it went really good. I impressed myself!! LOL. But the point is, it was really smooth and really well and my interview ended at around 1245.

So after that I went to Putrajaya with my dad to settle some stuff and I got a call from Taylor's to attend another interview under Siemens. So I went back for the interview. I then asked the lady in charge why do I have to go through this for another company and she told me that the previous interviewers HIGHLY RECOMMENDED me to participate in this interview. Which means, I lost my chance in Loreal. With furthur enquiries, I found out that Loreal was actually really impressed with my presentation and stuff but because there was another GUY that was equally impressive, they gave the scholarship to the GUY. This is soooo sexist!! Sex discrimination!!! Hahaha kidding. So they thought it was a waste that I couldn't get it (which I should, haha) so they wanted me to attend another one. And I don't know the result yet.

Oh and my dad was real helpful. He told me this,"If I were the interviewer and there's a guy and a girl who did really well, I'll choose the guy." Gee, thanks dad. I feel alot better now.

But anyways, whatever will be, will be. So cross your fingers for me peeps!

Sunday, May 2, 2010

So. I hv to attend this Taylor's interview tomorrow at Lakeside Campus. If I'm successful, I'll be able to get a hundred percent scholarship. IF I'm succesful, that is. Rumours were that the scholarship is very hard to get and it is very, very limited.

Hopefully I'll be able to get a hundred percent scholarship in one way or another. I don't wanna pay for myself!!! T_T

Anyways, my partner company that has chosen me for the interview is Loreal. So there'll be people from Loreal joining the interrogation tomorrow. The pressure!!! And I have to do this power point presentation which I am gonna start doing soon.

Wish me luck peeps.
